So much has happened since the last update! Technology week was actually pretty crap (Apart from Wednesday when Me and Chlöe did cooking with the younger years.) It seems to have ended up in a massive religious debate actually because this christian band called collective came in on monday and while their music was okay, their preaching was not taught as a possible approach to religion but as a demand to be christian (some of the kids who were in the lesson conducted by the band had their own religious beliefs and had to sit through the whole 'if you dont embrace Jesus you are going to hell' thing. Just because it was in less abrupt words didnt mean it wasnt mean and disregarding towards other faiths). A guy in my year complained to the head teacher who sidled it off to the head of maths who was completely unreasonable. He was like "I used to be like you, its sad how some people have to live with a whole in their hearts because of a lack of faith" and yes he did type "whole" I read the email that Matt wrote and it was not attacking religion, merely questioning aspects of the approach adopted by collective. All in all the year group has become rather protective of Matt and his not religion hating queries and none of us believe that any 6th former should be talked to in such a patronizing manner. Technology week was not the best week of my life.
On more happy matters - I went to see the new film "mamma mia" and I loved it :) If you get a chance - watch it!! Its so much fun! I got the soundtrack and it is a blast to have a dance to! people in the cinema were clapping and dancing in their seats! Colin Firth was also in it which just makes it for me. He sounds so so English when he sings!! <3
Cardiff was fantastic too! As soon as we got there (we being me, My sister Lucy and our friend Louise - who was driving because I cant ): we were acting like proper tourists! we ran about in cardiff bay outside the millennium centre like "wow! John Barrowman has been here!" We also stood on the step which supposedly has a perception filter on it and supposedly takes you to Torchwood. Im pretty sure neither of those things are real though... :P
When we got into the exhibition we kind of made a beeline for David Tennant's suit. It was only after we had stroked it and hugged it and pretty much made it our own that we realised there was a sign right next to it saying "dont touch the exhibits" oh dear! There was loads of stuff there though aswell as the suit. Costumes for Martha, Rose and the 9th doctor (good ol' Chris Eccleston) and of couse the daleks which were actually brilliant. We didnt touch them though... Hopefully when I have some time I'll be able to put up some piccies so watch out for some thumbnails at the bottom of this post!!
Finally, before I retire to bed and quite possibly watch an episode of - you guessed it - Doctor who! Even though they will probably never see this post I have to say how brilliant the year 8 class that I have sat in with this year have been, I have been able to work with them and teach them a few things that I hope they will carry forward (although admittedly I did steal the sandwich thing - Thanks Hutch!) I am seriously going to miss them and although I will be talking to Mr Hutchins about sitting in with a couple of his classes next year, that loud but brilliant group will be the ones who started me off and gave me the confidence to act wacky and maybe get a point across! lol!

First of all I want to say thanks to all the people who have dropped by to look at the site and left comments on the chat box :) Its been so nice to come online and see some of my favourite people have dropped in and it makes me feel like this site is something I can really pour myself into with such support!
Over the past couple of hours I have managed to update the site to include Icons (click to view) Blends (click to view) and Wallpapers (click to view) adding my graphics is a step towards including resources in the site for other designers. With summer coming up I should have a real chance to get on and create! looking in the real long term, if the site is a sucess I will purchase a domain which should be able to support some more interesting elements (such as cute news - a proper blogging program).
As far as my life goes Im getting more and more excited with the approach of the trip to Cardiff. Ive decided Im going to go around like a real tourist type with a camera and look of awe! lol! Not are we only going to go to the doctor who exhibition but also - weather permitting - we can go set hunting since so much of the show is shot there. Just got to keep fingers crossed that we bump into some of the cast or production team wandering around now!
The panto is steaming ahead aswell, we've perfected the first scene and are close to perfecting the second and third. Ive also started typing up the script for the group so we dont forget it over the summer. If the mystery of it all has you curious now Im going to leak a few details. My character is called Tagliatelle and I am the servant boy of Lord Poufé. Lord Poufé is betrothed to the princess even though he is a jerk and she doesnt really like him. Every story has to have the evil character of course and ours is named turrelle, his plans are to take over the kingdom so we are hoping for alot of BOOs from the audience! How he plans to take over the kingdom is a detail I might reveal later. teehee! :P For a little sneak peak at the script click HERE.
Hopefully I will be updating again soon with the new fanfiction Ive been writing and maybe with some wacky accounts of technology week at school next week.

Im very excited about finally getting the site up because its been a whole new experience for me learning about coding and setting up all the pages. I think I have pulled it off but if there are links that dont work or errors on the site, please email me and I will repair it asap. If you are new to how this all works you can navigate the site by using the links on the side bar or by clicking the words on the header.
Soon I will be blogging on here about some great things I have coming up such as the Doctor Who Exhibition in Cardiff that I am visiting with my sister and friend Louise on the 20th aswell as talking about some exciting things that I have been doing closer to home like the pantomime which my drama group will be performing in a massive school event at christmas!
If you arent here to keep up with my life of randomness then there are some other bits and bobs to look at such as my graphics, fanfictions and videos. Eventually I would also like to add resources such as brushes and tutorials for PSP users but for now Im keeping it simple.

I hope to meet some great people through this site and keep up with my current friends and family too.
